The location of this hotel is perfect, near the park and within walking distance to the night market and many other sights of Saigon. The rooms, though old, are very comfortable with all the basic amenities you need. Plus, the room I had was large and clean, providing a quiet and peaceful night's sleep.
All was okay, but I wish the breakfast had more variety.

I liked the location. that was about it.
The pictures have NOTHING to do with the actual property. It is NOT directly on a river but next to an extremely busy street. That i could have dealt with... The first room I was give had NO window! I didn;t know rooms like that existed. AFter complaining I received a marginally better room with no views. Also could have salt with that. The furnishings and decor are seriously outdated and look worn. The breakfast bar had the least amount of items of all places i have stayed in Vietnam throughout the past month. And at least 50% was empty at any given time. I was planning to stay for a week but left after one night. NOT RECOMMENDABLE

The breakfasts were always delicious with great view, authentic Vietnam food and also freshly made omelettes cooked to order. I was upgraded to an a nice size room with good beds.

The location and the decoration
They did not consider our needs as requested, although they could They bind the full amount from my credit card of our charge from the booking day which is illegal, according to Booked.net rules and I reserve my legal rights as soon as I return to my country

The location was magnificent, in the center of city, in the shopping area.
Their staff were very rude.

Great value, considering that everything is fine. The venue is quirky and quiet with competent staff. Make sure to get a twin room with a curtain thick enough, good beds. The hotel has a perfect and nice location, close to the main attractions. The restaurant serves delicious Vietnamese food.

Spacious and fairly clean hotel, location was great and stunning very close to the restaurant, the major attractions and park area. Location in the center of the city was a plus. I usually went to Rbar to grab a bite.

Superb and very good breakfast variety of meals.
Quaint hotel, fairly clean, courteous staff and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. In the center of the city, very convenient. Roof top bar in the property.

The hotel's historic look was charming and the breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of options. The staff was courteous and helpful when we needed information about the area.
The customer service was inconsistent and there were some dodgy extra charges that could only be paid in cash. The WiFi was spotty and slow at times.

The room was a generous size and the hotel location overlooking the Saigon River was great.

I was told that they would accept different credit card options. I was asked to pay in cash. They would not accept Amex as advertised! Not happy!!,

Great location near attractions, spacious rooms, amazing views from the rooftop terrace, friendly staff. The hotel is in the center of the city, near the Opera House, and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Our room was huge and very comfortable, and the rooftop terrace had stunning views of the river and cruise ships. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a lot of variety including made-to-order omelettes.
Nothing, all great. This city had so much to offer and the hotel was the perfect place to stay.

The hotel staff were fairly friendly. Communication skill was very poor as English not well spoken or understood. The location is good by the river but of course u have to pay much more to get the river view room which is not worth it. I'd rather stay in a backpackers hotel and enjoy spending my money on shopping. Riverside hotel doesn't offer u much really. Be careful when u book the tours as they love to over charge rich people coming for vacation in Vietnam that's how they see all tourist withdrawal machine.
Tourists from India often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
